Schaeffler will show its full electrified powertrain range, covering BEV, hybrid and REEV systems, at the Bühl symposium in June
Schaeffler will use its 13th Automotive Symposium in Bühl in June to show a powertrain portfolio that spans battery electric vehicles (BEVs), hybrid powertrains and range extender (REEV) applications. The company will present components and integrated systems including e-axles, hybrid transmissions, inverter platforms and bearings.
For BEVs, Schaeffler is focused on integrated electric drive systems, scalable inverter platforms with X-in-1 functionality and current-insulated bearings. The company says material efficiency in electric motors and a tighter development process aim to cut complexity and shorten time to market.

For hybrids and range extenders, Schaeffler covers P1 to P3 topologies and offers a dedicated hybrid transmission combining components, software and functions. It describes REEVs as part of the electric mobility transition, using internal combustion more efficiently within an integrated drive.
In a statement, Matthias Zink, Chief Executive Powertrain and Chassis at Schaeffler AG, said: “With our Powertrain technology cluster, we will be showcasing Schaeffler’s extensive development capabilities in the powertrain segment at the Schaeffler Automotive Symposium. We offer all customers the entire spectrum of powertrain technologies – from components to functionally integrated systems.”
The symposium runs every four years and is Schaeffler’s largest automotive customer event. The 2026 edition uses the theme “Beyond Driving. Innovation made by Schaeffler.”
