Ampeco partners with Plugsurfing on managed roaming

Ampeco has partnered with Plugsurfing to give its eMSP customers access to more than one million charge points in 28 countries

Ampeco has partnered with Plugsurfing to provide managed roaming for electric mobility service providers (eMSPs) across Europe, opening access to more than one million charge points in 28 countries via a single Roam OCPI integration. Announced on 30 April 2026, the deal adds a managed option to Ampeco’s existing self-managed and hybrid roaming models.

Plugsurfing’s network is backed by more than 800 charge point operators and serves over two million electric vehicle (EV) drivers. Partners include Ionity, Tesla Supercharger, Fastned and Allego, with combined coverage in Germany, France and the Netherlands exceeding 500,000 charge points.

In a statement, Tom Rowlands, Managing Director of Global EV Solutions at Corpay, Plugsurfing’s parent company, said: “The partnership with Ampeco enables eMSPs to offer broad, reliable charging access across Europe without the operational overhead of managing roaming themselves. Together, we handle the network relationships and day-to-day operations so they can focus on growing their business.”

Stefan Ivanov, Chief Revenue Officer at Ampeco, added: “As the EV charging market in Europe matures, we’re seeing growing demand from our customers for more direct control over key aspects of their business, including their eMSP roaming strategy. At Ampeco, we’re committed to delivering the right fit for each customer, and integrating one of the strongest managed roaming providers on the market gives many of our customers a seamless path to scale.”
