With less than two years selling cars, Xiaomi’s EV division has quickly emerged as the group’s primary growth driver. By Stewart Burnett
Automotive newcomer Xiaomi’s smart electric vehicle (EV) and AI segment posted its first full-year operating profit of CN¥900m (US$132m) in 2025, with revenue surging 223.8% to CN¥106.1bn. The result came on deliveries of 411,082 vehicles, doubling its 2025 performance, with gross margin expanding 5.8 percentage points to 24.3%.
