Škoda has partnered with Upstream to consolidate cyber threat intelligence across its connected vehicles and digital services
Škoda has announced a partnership with cybersecurity firm Upstream to consolidate cyber threat intelligence, risk monitoring and compliance activities across its connected vehicles, digital services and supporting systems. The partnership provides a unified platform accessible to cybersecurity and engineering teams across the automaker, enabling earlier visibility into potential risks and streamlined documentation for regulatory compliance.
The collaboration supports Škoda’s activities under UNECE WP.29 R155 and ISO/SAE 21434, which require structured monitoring, documentation and risk management processes for connected vehicles. Upstream said the platform enables teams to review findings, share context and document decisions within a single workspace, reducing manual effort associated with compliance reporting.
In a statement, Miroslav Sivous, Threat Intelligence Expert at Škoda Auto, said: “Our partnership with Upstream supports our activities required under R155 and helps us build a more robust cybersecurity resilience across our ecosystem. The partnership gives us the visibility and confidence we need to act proactively.”
Yoav Levy, Co-founder and Chief Executive of Upstream Security, added: “Škoda’s proactive mindset and dedication to continuously improving their cyber-resilience processes set a strong example for the industry. They demonstrate how operational excellence and forward-thinking leadership can meaningfully elevate cybersecurity maturity.”
