Octillion sets daily production record of 3,653 packs

Octillion Power Systems has reported a single-day production record of 3,653 electric vehicle (EV) battery systems, representing approximately 114 MWh of energy capacity, achieved on 3 December across its nine manufacturing facilities in the United States, India and China. The supplier said the battery systems produced support a range of applications including passenger cars, trucks, buses and commercial vehicles, with localised production serving OEM partners across key EV markets.

Octillion said it delivered approximately 20 GWh of energy capacity across vehicle segments and geographies in 2025, with production forecast to increase further in 2026. The company stated it captured more than 5% market share in the Chinese passenger EV battery systems market in 2023 and is now the largest producer of EV battery systems in India across passenger vehicles, trucks and buses by units produced and market share.
