Neusoft and Cerence AI have signed an MOU to integrate large language model-based voice AI into Neusoft’s cockpit software platform
Neusoft and Cerence AI have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on large language model (LLM)-based voice artificial intelligence (AI) for automotive cockpit applications, with the companies planning to deliver pre-integrated, scenario-driven voice interaction solutions for automakers globally. The partnership will see Cerence AI’s conversational AI, generative AI and LLM capabilities integrated into Neusoft’s NAGIC intelligent cockpit software platform, which will serve as the core foundation for joint development work.
The two companies said they will combine Neusoft’s global product development and delivery network with Cerence AI’s automotive voice technology expertise to expand into target markets worldwide. The collaboration will explore applications of intelligent voice interaction, with the aim of enabling systems that understand natural language and provide contextually relevant responses for drivers and passengers.
Neusoft and Cerence AI said the partnership responds to rising user expectations for in-cabin interaction, as vehicle occupants increasingly seek voice assistants capable of smooth communication beyond basic command-and-response functionality. The companies stated they aim to help automakers deliver what they described as safer and more natural mobility experiences through the integrated platform.
