Motive and Holman integrate telematics and fleet management data

Motive has become the first telematics partner to join Holman’s new Telematics Preferred Integration Network (TPIN) programme, connecting real-time vehicle and driver data with Holman’s fleet management and maintenance platform. The integration gives fleet operators a unified view of vehicle health, maintenance scheduling, driver safety and total operating costs across their fleets.

The connection enables Motive’s telematics data — including location, odometer readings, engine hours, fault codes and maintenance alerts — to flow directly into Holman’s system in real time. Service alerts are triggered based on mileage, engine hours and diagnostic trouble codes, allowing maintenance to be scheduled before failures occur. Fuel usage and idling monitoring are also included to support operating cost reduction.

Safety data from Motive covering speeding, hard braking and distracted driving events feeds into Holman’s safety and risk tools, enabling fleet managers to identify high-risk drivers and deliver targeted coaching. The integration is designed to reduce manual data transfers between systems, which the companies say can delay decisions and obscure total cost of ownership visibility in larger fleets.
