GlobalLogic and Elektrobit have expanded their 15-year partnership to focus on software-defined vehicle platforms and high-performance computing
GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has announced a strategic expansion of its 15-year partnership with automotive software supplier Elektrobit, with the two firms planning to accelerate development and market adoption of software-defined vehicle (SDV) platforms. The expanded collaboration will focus on high-performance computing (HPC), SDV platforms and global market enablement, with GlobalLogic contributing functional safety and cybersecurity expertise to support compliance with ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 21434 standards.
The companies have previously collaborated on Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR middleware, in-vehicle infotainment systems and connectivity solutions. GlobalLogic said the expanded partnership moves beyond traditional engineering services to establish a joint commitment to vehicle software development at scale.
