Hydrexia will supply relocatable hydrogen refuelling stations to Toyota Motor Corporation Australia to support fuel cell vehicles
Hydrexia has secured an order from Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) to supply relocatable hydrogen refuelling stations (RHRSs) to support fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) in the Australian market, with the agreement covering supply, operation and maintenance of the refuelling equipment. The deal expands on previous collaboration between the two companies, following Hydrexia’s deployment of refuelling stations to UMW Toyota in Malaysia and Toyota Philippines.
Hydrexia said the project represents a further step in its presence in the Australian hydrogen market over the past 12 months. The company has expanded its operations across Southeast Asia, Europe, the US and Australia.
In a statement, Ashley Mills, Managing Director of Hydrexia Pty Ltd, said: “Australian consumers will continue to benefit from a wider choice of vehicles and technologies, which requires ongoing market leadership in driving this change and TMCA has shown its commitment to making this a reality. We are highly appreciative of the trust TMCA has placed in Hydrexia to match its customer service commitments.”
The number of refuelling stations included in the order was not disclosed.
