Global light vehicle sales forecast – March 2026 edition

Demand in the Top-20 light vehicle (LV) markets fell more steeply in February 2026, with a 5.6% fall following January’s 3% drop. The global picture was heavily influenced by a 25% fall in China, where demand was affected by three fewer selling days in the month compared with a year earlier, as well as the negative effect of policy changes.
