GAC has used Auto China 2026 to outline a globalisation strategy aimed at making it a leading Chinese auto exporter by 2030.
GAC International held its first dedicated global event at Auto China 2026 on April 24, presenting an internationalisation strategy centred on what the company describes as “end-to-end systematic globalisation.” The event drew around 330 attendees including dealer representatives, partners, and domestic and international media.
The company outlined an ambition to become a leading Chinese automotive exporter by 2030, framing international expansion as a strategic shift from domestic leadership to global competitiveness. Three models destined for international markets were showcased: the GAC YUE7, the AION i60, and the AION N60.
GAC said the three models mark the start of what it terms an “all-category, all-powertrain, all-scenario” international product era. The company said it intends to deepen local deployment and partnerships with international distributors as part of its global rollout.
