Aumovio strikes MOU with Pateo on SDV domain control

Pateo has signed an MOU with Aumovio at Auto China 2026 to jointly develop cross-domain SDV controllers and artificial general intelligence applications.

Pateo and Aumovio have signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition covering joint development of high-computing software-defined vehicle technologies and artificial general intelligence automotive applications. The agreement was signed on April 25.

Under the MOU, the two companies will jointly develop cross-domain integrated product solutions based on high-computing SoCs, form a joint team focused on AGI automotive demonstration projects, and combine their respective supply chain, customer, and manufacturing capabilities to expand in global SDV and AGI markets.

The cooperation is framed around a “channel plus product” model, with PATEO contributing its software-hardware-chip-cloud integration capabilities and Aumovio bringing its SoC platform research and industry relationships. Both parties will co-invest at the technical level to develop what they describe as high-computing intelligent SDV technologies and products.

Pateo employs more than 2,100 people globally, including an R&D team of over 700, and says its registered invention patent count ranks first in its sector. The company characterised the agreement as a milestone in its “AI plus globalisation” strategy.
