Tesla has seen two consecutive years of falling vehicle sales and production, and there seems little chance of a near-term recovery. By Ian Henry
It was once going so well for Tesla: it was the leading electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer globally with production facilities in China, the US, and Germany. Governments the world over were offering consumers incentives to switch to EVs, and automakers like Tesla were offered all sorts of tax breaks to open new factories or convert existing ones, but it has all very quickly turned sour.
