The EX60 introduces HuginCore, Volvo Cars’ newly named core system encompassing its in-house developed electrical architecture, core computer, zone controllers and software. The system incorporates Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform and the Nvidia DRIVE platform with DRIVE AGX Orin.

“HuginCore, our system of hardware and software, combines our in-house developed technology with the best services and technologies from tech leaders such as Google, Nvidia and Qualcomm Technologies,” Chief Engineering and Technology Officer Anders Bell said.

The vehicle is capable of more than 250 trillion operations per second and will receive over-the-air updates. Customers receive four years of complimentary unlimited data connectivity.
