Yunex Traffic UK consolidates UK operations in new facility

Yunex Traffic UK has signed a lease of up to 20 years for a new purpose-built facility at Bournemouth Airport’s Aviation Business Park, consolidating its UK manufacturing, engineering and office operations under one roof for the first time. The move marks a continuation of the company’s presence in the Poole area, where it has operated since 1966.

The site at 1 Viscount Road will house a modern manufacturing hall with dedicated printed circuit board manufacturing, advanced assembly stations and a global repair centre for electronic components. Integrated office space will include a dedicated research and development area, while improved logistics and distribution capabilities are intended to support both domestic and international delivery. Solar panels will be installed as part of the facility’s sustainability provisions.

Almost 500 colleagues are set to relocate to the new site during 2026 following consultation with employees, local partners and transport authorities. Yunex Traffic UK exports to more than 55 countries and has cited rising demand for intelligent traffic management solutions as a driver of the expansion.
