Volvo has unveiled the EX60, an all-electric mid-size SUV offering up to 810 km of range and 340 km of charge in ten minutes
Volvo has unveiled the EX60, an all-electric mid-size SUV built on its new SPA3 electric vehicle (EV) architecture and offering up to 810 km of range in its top specification. The automaker said the EX60 is available in three powertrain variants—P12 all-wheel drive (AWD) with 810 km range, P10 AWD with 660 km and rear-wheel drive P6 with 620 km—and can add up to 340 km of range in ten minutes when using a 400 kW fast charger.

The EX60 is built using cell-to-body technology, mega casting and new in-house developed electric motors, which Volvo said contribute to improved energy efficiency and a drag coefficient of 0.26. The vehicle comes with a 10-year battery warranty, and Swedish customers will initially receive three years of free home charging.
In a statement, Håkan Samuelsson, Chief Executive of Volvo Cars, said: “With this car, we remove all remaining obstacles for going electric. This fantastic new car is also a testament of what we are capable of at Volvo Cars, with an all-new product architecture introducing new key technologies—mega casting, cell-to-body and core computing.”
The EX60 is the first Volvo to feature Google’s Gemini AI assistant and Apple Music with Dolby Atmos. Orders are open in European markets, with deliveries of the P6 and P10 variants scheduled for summer and the P12 to follow.
