Volvo Cars Canada is debuting the EX30 Cross Country at the Montreal International Auto Show, marking the first Canadian auto show appearance for the rugged variant of the automaker’s compact electric SUV. The show runs from 16 to 25 January at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, where Volvo will also display its EX30, EX40, XC40, XC60 and XC90 models alongside a safety cage display.

The EX30 Cross Country features a raised chassis, front and rear skid plates and black exterior graphics. The model has a starting price of CA$59,800 and is available to configure online.
In a statement, Matt Girgis, Managing Director at Volvo Cars Canada, said: “Quebec is a key market for us as we continue to expand our electrified portfolio. The EX30 Cross Country brings together the design, safety and versatility our customers expect from Volvo, in a compact electric SUV well suited to a wide range of lifestyles. It matches the urban practicality and true off-road confidence that Quebecers are looking for.”
