Volkswagen says pre-sales of the ID.3 Neo will begin on 16 April 2026 in Germany and across European markets
Volkswagen has revealed the ID.3 Neo, a comprehensively updated successor to the ID.3 electric compact model, with pre-sales starting on 16 April 2026 in Germany and across European markets. The vehicle features a new exterior based on the automaker’s Pure Positive design language, a redesigned interior and a more efficient drive system offering up to 630 km of WLTP range.

The ID.3 Neo will be available in three trim levels and with three powertrain configurations. Outputs range from 125 kW to 170 kW, paired with battery capacities of 50 kW/h, 58 kW/h and 79 kW/h net. The largest battery supports DC charging at up to 183 kW, while the two smaller packs charge at up to 105 kW.

Inside, Volkswagen has fitted a new Innovision infotainment system with a 12.9-inch central display and 10.25-inch digital cockpit. The automaker said the cabin features redesigned controls, a new multifunction steering wheel and higher-quality materials. Optional technologies include Connected Travel Assist with traffic light recognition, one-pedal driving and a vehicle-to-load function capable of supplying up to 3.6 kW to external devices.
