Daimler Truck España has delivered 27 Mercedes-Benz Actros 1853 LS GigaSpace ProCabin trucks to Spanish logistics company Transnoriega
Spanish logistics company Transnoriega has taken delivery of 27 Mercedes-Benz Actros 1853 LS GigaSpace ProCabin trucks, supplied by Daimler Truck España through dealer partner Eje Occidental. The order brings Transnoriega’s total Mercedes-Benz fleet to 49 units, following an initial delivery of 25 tractor units six years ago.
The Actros L ProCabin features a front end extended by 80 millimetres and a largely seamless exterior structure designed to improve aerodynamic performance. Mercedes-Benz claims fuel savings of up to 3% depending on application, alongside reductions in CO₂ equivalent emissions and total cost of ownership through its diesel powertrain portfolio.

The vehicles are equipped with a range of driver assistance systems built on a new electronics platform that combines radar and camera data for detection coverage of up to 270 degrees. These include Active Brake Assist 6 Plus for emergency braking, Active Sideguard Assist 2 for turning manoeuvres, Front Guard Assist for pull-away situations, and Active Drive Assist 3 for automated driving support.
In a statement, Antonio Cortes Noriego, Chief Operations Officer at Transnoriega, said: “We are very grateful to Daimler Truck for its commitment to further strengthening our fleet of Mercedes-Benz trucks. Six years ago, we took delivery of the first 25 tractor units, and with this shipment of 27 units, we now have a total of 49 Mercedes-Benz trucks. Given their reliability and efficiency, we are confident that this number will continue to grow.”
