Terawatt and Velocity Vehicle Group have partnered to combine charging infrastructure and service networks for HD EV fleets
Terawatt and Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) have formed a partnership to support heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) fleet operators across North America, combining Terawatt’s high-speed charging infrastructure with VVG’s commercial vehicle service and parts network. The collaboration focuses particularly on Southern California, a major freight hub and centre for EV adoption.

Terawatt operates dedicated, pull-through charging centres with megawatt-scale capacity designed for commercial vehicles, including a new site in the Inland Empire. VVG supports EV fleets through its network of dealerships and maintenance centres spanning the US, Canada, Australia, and Mexico, with EV-certified technicians and dedicated infrastructure.
In a statement, Neha Palmer, Chief Executive Officer of Terawatt, said: “For heavy-duty fleet electrification to succeed, the infrastructure must be as dynamic and dependable as the internal combustion engine network it replaces. Our network is engineered for high utilisation and speed, using a pull-through design that allows drivers to keep moving without complex manoeuvring.”

Chris Abarca, Director of Sales at Velocity Vehicle Group, added: “Velocity Vehicle Group’s footprint—especially the robust maintenance coverage we provide throughout Southern California—is the safety net for our customers’ EV investments. Together, the Terawatt and VVG networks allows us to tell customers, ‘We’ve got the power, and we’ve got the parts and EV-certified service technicians to keep you moving.’”
