Following a disappointing first half of the fiscal year, Suzuki’s sales in India gained considerable momentum in Q3. By Will Girling
Maruti Suzuki stated on 12 January 2026 that it will add one million units to its current 2.4 million upa capacity in India. The company has purchased land in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district to develop and prepare a new site, its fifth nationally, at a cost of INR 49.6bn (US$550m).
