Stellantis is investing more than €100m (US$118m) to transform its historic Poissy site near Paris into a multi-activity industrial hub, with operations set to be fully operational by 2030. Vehicle production at the plant will continue until at least the end of 2028, after which four new activities will be phased in.
The site will take on parts stamping and sub-assembly production for new vehicles and the aftermarket, supported by a new press line, modernised body shop, new paint shop and an engine assembly line. Poissy will also host a dismantling line for reconditioning parts within a circular economy framework, a vehicle preparation and conversion operation for special series and fleet applications, and a 3D printing centre for small-batch production and research and development prototypes.

Stellantis said the transformation will maintain 1,000 factory jobs by 2030, with workforce changes managed through natural attrition and voluntary departures. New roles will be supported by dedicated training programmes.
Xavier Chéreau, Chief Human Resources and Sustainability Officer, said: “In a rapidly changing automotive industry, this project, co-developed with social partners, guarantees a sustainable future for the Poissy industrial site, centred around activities resolutely focused on the future.”
