SEAT/Cupra suffered a significant setback in 2025 as tariffs, production halts, and high costs practically annihilated its profits. By Will Girling
Among the most significant revelations from Volkswagen Group’s 2025 results was the serious drop in profitability for SEAT/Cupra. From an income of €633m (US$734m) and 4.4% margin in 2024, the brands experienced a near-100% collapse to €1m and 0.0%.
