Sany launches world’s first intelligent hybrid pump truck

Sany has launched what it describes as the world’s first intelligent hybrid pump truck at a product event in China, alongside a new electric mixer truck and a 33-metre pump truck. The event drew around 600 industry attendees, with online viewership exceeding one million.

The hybrid pump truck combines a smart drivetrain with a range-extended hybrid system. Sany says testing recorded a maximum range of 1,400.5 kilometres and continuous pumping capacity of more than 650 cubic metres. The company claims 84 consecutive days of uninterrupted operation and sustained high-pressure pumping at 20 MPa. Under typical operating conditions of 50 to 100 cubic metres per day, Sany says operating costs are reduced by 50% to 75%.

The 2026 E-truck mixer features an EBI smart braking system with an energy recovery rate of up to 30%, alongside a one-button insulation detection system completing fault diagnosis in three minutes. Active safety systems include lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking and right-turn emergency braking, which Sany says reduce accident rates by 15% to 20%.

Two compact models, the 206 E-truck mixer and 33-metre pump truck, were also introduced, targeting narrower jobsites and rural construction applications.

“Through continued R&D investment, we are bringing a new generation of products to market,” Yuan Yue, Chairman of Sany’s Concrete and Road Machinery business unit, said, “all designed to address customer concerns around energy costs and operational range.”
