Rizon is opening seven sales centres across Québec as the province’s Écocamionnage programme reopens with CA$100,000 grants
Rizon Truck Canada is opening seven new sales centres across Québec, expanding the all-electric truckmaker’s provincial footprint to coincide with the reopening of Québec’s Écocamionnage incentive programme. Eligible customers can now claim up to CA$100,000 (US$73,000) per vehicle in provincial funding for qualifying zero-emission freight trucks through the scheme.
The new sales centres span Greater Montréal, Québec City and Northeastern Québec, giving fleet operators local access to Rizon’s Class 4-5 medium-duty electric trucks. The e-trucks launched in North America at the 2023 ACT Expo.

The Écocamionnage programme, administered by Québec’s Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable, funds zero-emission trucks through 31 March 2028. Rizon’s Class 4-5 trucks qualify for the maximum CA$100,000 incentive.
Alex Voets, General Manager, Rizon North America, said: “Écocamionnage offers a major opportunity for Québec fleets to accelerate the shift to zero-emission trucks. With seven new sales centres coming online, we’re making it easier for operators across the province to access Rizon trucks that are already proving themselves on Canadian roads, backed by local support for charging, incentives, and fleet deployment.”
Rizon trucks are distributed in Canada by Rizon Truck Canada, a subsidiary of Velocity Vehicle Group. The Class 4-5 e-trucks weigh 15,995 to 18,850 lbs, offering single-charge ranges of 177 km or 257 km depending on battery configuration.
