Porsche names new regional heads for Latin America, APAC

Porsche has appointed Thomas Illner as Chief Executive of Porsche Latin America and Ragnar Schulte as Chief Executive of Porsche Asia Pacific, with the two executives taking up their new roles in March and May 2026 respectively. Illner is currently Chief Operating Officer of Porsche Germany, while Schulte serves as Director of Experiential Marketing at Porsche AG.

Illner succeeds Tobias Eninger, who moved to Porsche AG on 1 December 2025 to head the Sales Management and Strategy department. Illner joined Porsche Cars North America in 1998 and has since held management roles in Germany, Switzerland and Canada, where he led after-sales, dealer network development and the sales division.

Schulte succeeds Hannes Ruoff, who will take over the Strategy and Corporate Development department at Porsche AG in May 2026. Schulte previously oversaw marketing and motorsports for Porsche Cars Great Britain, including the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone, and later led market development at Porsche Latin America before moving to his current role in Stuttgart.

In a statement, Matthias Becker, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche, said: “Both Thomas Illner and Ragnar Schulte bring extensive international expertise to their new roles and will strategically apply their experience in the emerging markets.”
