Porsche has launched the Cayenne S Electric, a new mid-range variant offering 490 kW with Launch Control and a 653 km WLTP range
Porsche has added the Cayenne S Electric to its all-electric SUV range, positioning the model between the entry-level Cayenne Electric and the top-of-the-range Cayenne Electric Turbo. The new variant delivers a system output of 400 kW, rising to 490 kW with Launch Control, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
The Cayenne S Electric shares the 113 kWh gross battery of its stablemates and offers a WLTP combined range of up to 653 kilometres. At a compatible fast-charging station, the battery can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in under 16 minutes at up to 400 kW peak charging power.

The drivetrain pairs permanent magnet synchronous motors on both axles and uses direct oil cooling on the rear motor, dissipating heat from current-carrying components rather than from the motor housing. The rear axle pulse inverter uses silicon carbide semiconductor material and handles currents of up to 620 amps.
Model-specific front and rear aprons in Volcano Grey Metallic distinguish the S visually, alongside 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels. Optional equipment includes Porsche Active Ride suspension, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and a Push-to-Pass function delivering up to 90 kW of additional power for ten seconds.
Porsche is also introducing an Interior Style Package for all Cayenne Electric derivatives, featuring two-tone leather upholstery in Black and Delgada Green with coordinated stitching, aluminium trims painted in Izabal Green, and a GT sports steering wheel in black leather.
