Iveco Group has launched Beyond Lab, an open innovation platform developed with Politecnico di Torino’s I3P incubator to co-develop technologies with startups
Iveco Group has launched Beyond Lab, an open innovation platform developed in collaboration with I3P, the startup incubator of Politecnico di Torino, to connect external innovators and startups with its internal research and development processes. The platform is designed to identify and co-develop technologies applicable to Iveco Group’s commercial vehicle brands.
The first call for startups is open under the theme of innovative materials and design approaches for sustainable mobility, covering materials innovation, software and AI-driven design tools, advanced manufacturing technologies and new business models. Beyond Lab will operate through a structured process of scouting, co-development and experimentation, building on what Iveco Group describes as an established venture client approach.
“Collaborating with I3P on Beyond Lab will accelerate the way we approach open innovation, building a structured platform for breakthrough technology and industrial-grade innovation,” Marco Liccardo, Chief Technology and Digital Officer at Iveco Group, said.
Giuseppe Scellato, President of I3P, added: “The new Beyond Lab platform will become a reference point for those who have valuable ideas and those who can turn these into reality.
