Nissan launches Gravite seven-seat MPV in India

Nissan has launched the Gravite seven-seat MPV in India from INR 5.65 lakh, opening a three-model product push through 2027

Nissan has launched the Gravite, a seven-seat multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), in India at an introductory price of INR 5.65 lakh, with local manufacturing at the company’s Alliance partner facility in Chennai. The model is the first of three planned India-market launches, to be followed by the Tekton C-SUV in mid-2026 and a seven-seat C-SUV in early 2027.

The Gravite is powered by a one-litre petrol engine producing 72PS at 6,250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3,400–3,600rpm, offered with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The third-row seats are removable, expanding luggage capacity to 625 litres. Connectivity features include a 20.3cm infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with wireless device charging.

Over 30 safety systems are fitted as standard, including electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, hill start assist, brake assist, and ABS with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).

A limited Launch Edition with additional interior and audio features will be available for a limited period.
