Renault Trucks has appointed Manuel Marielle as Managing Director of Renault Trucks France, effective 1 May

Renault Trucks has appointed Manuel Marielle as Managing Director of Renault Trucks France, effective 1 May, succeeding Christophe Martin who has held the position since 2018 and will assume new responsibilities within the Renault Trucks executive committee. The appointment places Marielle at the helm of the truckmaker’s largest market, where Renault Trucks holds a 30% share.
Marielle, 53, joined Renault Trucks in 1999 in finance roles and has held management positions across the Volvo Group, including on the executive committees of Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks North America, and Renault Trucks. He currently serves as Managing Director of the European Medium-Duty Vehicle Business Unit, which he created to strengthen the group’s position in the segment.
In a statement, Marielle said: “I am joining a solid and high-performing organisation, supported by talented teams who will help me accelerate our trajectory, in close collaboration with our dealers.”
Antoine Duclaux, President of Renault Trucks, added: “Manuel is a bold leader with over 25 years of expertise in value creation, a strong corporate culture, and extensive international experience.”
