Kia has renewed its global lubricants supply agreement with TotalEnergies for a further five years, extending a partnership that began in 2011
Kia has signed a new five-year global cooperation agreement with TotalEnergies, extending a lubricants supply partnership that has been in place since 2011. The renewed deal, which runs through to 2031, will see TotalEnergies continue to supply its Quartz engine oils to Kia customers and dealers worldwide.
The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony at Kia’s Osan Training Center in Yongin, South Korea, attended by Dong-Hwan Hwang, Head of Kia’s Ownership Management Sub-division, and Elodie Luce, Vice President Automotive at TotalEnergies Lubrifiants.

In a statement, Hwang said: “Extending our partnership with TotalEnergies marks an important step in reinforcing Kia’s global competitiveness. By working closely with TotalEnergies, we will continue to elevate service quality, accelerate our progress in the sustainable mobility space, and deliver greater value and confidence to our customers worldwide.”
Luce added: “This renewed commitment strengthens our ability to accelerate the development of cutting-edge lubricant solutions tailored to the rapidly evolving demands of modern powertrains, including the latest hybrid and electric technologies.”
The two companies have renewed their global cooperation agreement every five years since its establishment. Joint projects and marketing initiatives developed over the previous 15 years will continue under the new terms.
