Iveco Bus has delivered more than 150 school buses to the Brazilian government under Caminho da Escola, with 2,000 units planned for 2026
Iveco Bus has delivered a new batch of school buses to the Brazilian Federal Government under the Caminho da Escola programme, with more than 150 units of the 15-210 ORE 3 model handed over at an official event at its Sete Lagoas plant in the state of Minas Gerais. The latest delivery forms part of a total of 2,000 vehicles scheduled under the programme in 2026, with Iveco Bus having now supplied more than 12,000 school buses since joining the scheme and expecting to exceed 14,000 units by year end.

Iveco Bus describes itself as the leading manufacturer in the current edition of the federal programme, in which it has been involved for more than 15 years. All vehicles are designed and manufactured at the Sete Lagoas facility. The two models offered under the programme, the 10-190 ORE 2 and the 15-210 ORE 3, are built to meet school transport requirements for safety, comfort and accessibility, including a mobile seating system for passengers with reduced mobility. The 15-210 ORE 3 carries up to 59 students plus the driver.
The Caminho da Escola programme provides school transport solutions for students across Brazil, including in rural and remote areas, as part of federal policy to support access to education.
