Honda has unveiled Sport Line and Trail Line product ranges at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 alongside HRC-spec concepts
Honda has unveiled two new product lines at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, introducing Sport Line for on-road models and Trail Line for off-road vehicles, both incorporating technologies from Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). The automaker presented several HRC-spec concept models at the event, including the Civic Type R HRC Concept and Prelude HRC Concept for Sport Line, alongside TrailSport HRC Concepts based on the CR-V, ZR-V, Vezel and WR-V for the Trail Line range.
The Sport Line is intended to deliver enhanced driving dynamics through technologies developed in on-road racing, while Trail Line draws on HRC’s experience in off-road competitions including Baja races. Honda said it plans to expand HRC-spec variants across a wider range of production models.
The automaker also displayed the Civic e:HEV RS Prototype, which will become the second model after the Prelude to feature Honda’s S+ Shift hybrid control technology. Production is scheduled before the end of 2026. Additionally, Honda showcased the Super-ONE Prototype compact electric vehicle (EV), featuring a simulated seven-speed transmission and Boost Mode for increased power output. The EV is also scheduled for sale in Japan before the end of 2026.
Other exhibits included the North American Passport TrailSport Elite, Acura Integra Type S and the N-ONE RS Racing Mate Concept.
