Honda will begin sales of the UC3 electric two-wheeled commuter in Thailand and Vietnam alongside charging infrastructure
Honda has launched the UC3 fixed-battery electric two-wheeled commuter in Thailand and Vietnam, with sales beginning this spring and charging infrastructure development underway in both markets. The model is equivalent to a 110cc internal combustion engine class and features Honda’s first fixed-type lithium iron phosphate battery, paired with an in-house developed wheel-side motor producing 6.0 kW maximum output and delivering a cruising range of 122 km per charge.

Production began in December 2025 at Thai Honda, with plans to transfer manufacturing to Honda Vietnam during 2026. The UC3 uses the CHAdeMO for two-wheelers charging standard, with two charger options providing full charge times of four hours (1200W) or nine hours (450W).
Honda is expanding charging infrastructure alongside the launch, adding stations at motorcycle dealerships and shopping malls in Bangkok, with installations planned for Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang from June 2026. The automaker will also continue expanding its Honda e:Swap battery station network for swappable battery models in Bangkok and Hanoi.
The UC3 offers three riding modes—Standard, Sport and Econ—plus a reverse mode for parking assistance. Honda said it plans to introduce electric motorcycles globally on an annual basis as part of its target to achieve carbon neutrality across all products and corporate activities by 2050.
