Honda confirms EV continuity with 0 Alpha testing in India | Automotive World

While Honda’s 0 series has been cancelled in the US, recent testing of the 0 Alpha in India suggests EV development continues. By Will Girling
Honda’s decision to terminate the 0 series is indicative of the difficulty to produce electric vehicles (EVs) profitably, particularly in markets with regulations hostile to their development, such as the US. However, a glimmer of the automaker’s former product strategy still lives on in the 0 Alpha, a small all-electric SUV set to be manufactured in India from 2027.
