Automotive World’s monthly global LV sales forecast provides a snapshot of past and future sales volumes broken down by region. By Jonathan Storey
Demand in the Top-20 light vehicle (LV) markets rounded off 2025 with a 1.1% rise in December, following two months of decline. Excluding China, which typically accounts for more than 30% of global demand, the December increase was 4.8%. Over the full year, there was a 1.8% boost in the Top-20 markets, rising to 2.2% if China is excluded.
