Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia launch AI platform

Dassault Systèmes and Nvidia have announced a long-term strategic partnership to develop an industrial artificial intelligence (AI) platform combining Virtual Twin technologies with AI infrastructure for applications across biology, materials science, engineering and manufacturing. The collaboration will establish science-validated Industry World Models and deploy virtual companions on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to support professionals in complex system design, simulation and operation.

The partnership combines Dassault Systèmes’ Virtual Twin technologies with Nvidia AI infrastructure, open models and accelerated software libraries. Dassault Systèmes will deploy AI factories through its OUTSCALE brand using Nvidia AI infrastructure on three continents as part of its cloud strategy, while Nvidia will adopt Dassault Systèmes’ model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to design AI factories starting with the Nvidia Rubin platform.

Applications include the Nvidia BioNeMo platform combined with BIOVIA science-validated world models for molecule and materials discovery, SIMULIA AI-based Virtual Twin physics behaviour using Nvidia CUDA-X libraries for design and engineering predictions, and Nvidia Omniverse physical AI libraries integrated into DELMIA Virtual Twin production systems for autonomous manufacturing.

The 3DEXPERIENCE agentic platform will combine Nvidia AI technologies and Nvidia Nemotron open models with Dassault Systèmes’ Industry World Models to power virtual companions. The partnership was announced at 3DEXPERIENCE World, Dassault Systèmes’ annual event for design and engineering communities.
