BMW’s strong core performance remains deflated by tariff impact and the seemingly unending decline of Chinese sales. By Will Girling
BMW brought in revenues of €133.4bn (US$154bn) during 2025, down 6.3% from 2024, generating an operating income of €10.2bn and a consolidated margin of 7.6%. Relative to its peers, the company remains among the most profitable brands worldwide, but October-December was the weakest quarter in a year that saw this virtue gradually deteriorate.
