Audi Group will make three coordinated management changes across Lamborghini, AUDI in China and the Neckarsulm plant from 1 July 2026. Fermín Soneira moves to Lamborghini as Chief Technical Officer, Neckarsulm plant manager Fred Schulze takes charge of the AUDI and SAIC joint venture in China, and Thomas Bogus shifts from Audi Brussels to lead Neckarsulm.
Soneira succeeds Rouven Mohr, who moved to AUDI AG on 1 March as Member of the Board for Technical Development. Audi says the management changes are intended to deepen knowledge transfer between its subsidiaries and between the production and technical development divisions.
In a statement, Audi Chief Executive Gernot Döllner said: “These strategic and well-orchestrated personnel changes strengthen the Brand Group Progressive worldwide. We rely on leaders who combine market expertise, operational excellence, and technical competence.”
Audi says Automobili Lamborghini has already become the first supercar brand with a fully hybrid model line-up. The AUDI brand in China continues its product rollout, with the AUDI E7X following the E5 Sportback into series production this year and a further model planned for 2027. Audi Neckarsulm is building out its role as an artificial intelligence centre alongside premium production.
