Audi appoints Vito Paladino to US leadership role

Audi has appointed Vito Paladino as President of Audi of America and Head of Audi North America Region, effective 1 April 2026. Paladino, who currently serves as President of Audi Canada and President and Chief Executive of Volkswagen Group Canada, succeeds Daniel Weissland, who will move to lead FAW Audi Sales Company China.

Paladino, 49, joined Audi Canada in 2013 in sales operations before becoming President in 2020. Under his leadership, Audi Canada became the top premium brand by sales volume in 2022, a first in Canadian history.

In a statement, Marco Schubert, Audi Board Member for Sales and Marketing, said: “We are decisively strengthening the Audi brand and our sales organisation in our core regions. With our model initiative and these high-performing leaders, Audi is well positioned to enhance its competitiveness in both North America and China.”

Paladino added: “I’m honoured to lead Audi of America at such an important time for the brand. As Audi continues the largest product launch cadence in our history, I look forward to working closely with US dealers.”

Khaled Soussi, currently responsible for commercial strategy and customer experience at SEAT SA, will succeed Paladino as Audi Canada President. Edgar Estrada, President of Volkswagen brand in Canada, will additionally take over as President and Chief Executive of Volkswagen Group Canada.
