Deploying Trucker Path for Fleets across its 800-unit fleet has halved low-clearance incidents at Illinois carrier Arka Express.
Illinois-based carrier Arka Express has reported a 50% reduction in low-clearance incidents following deployment of Trucker Path for Fleets across its more than 800 power units. The fleet also recorded a 1-3% reduction in fuel spending and a fall in annual driver turnover from 117% to 94%.
Arka Express had identified a safety risk from drivers using consumer navigation tools that lack truck-specific routing, particularly in areas with older infrastructure and truck-restricted routes. The company deployed Trucker Path on company-issued Android tablets to address the issue.
The solution is integrated with Arka Express’s Samsara ELDs and 10 Speed Transportation Management System, allowing Hours-of-Service data to sync into navigation and routes to populate automatically when drivers accept assignments.
