Also and DoorDash partner to develop autonomous delivery EVs

Also, a developer of small electric vehicles for last-mile and autonomous delivery, has announced a strategic partnership and multi-year commercial collaboration with DoorDash, alongside a US$200m (approximately — no conversion needed as USD) Series C financing round. The round is led by Greenoaks, with participation from Prysm Capital and a strategic investment from DoorDash.

The partnership focuses on deploying purpose-built small EVs designed for high-density urban environments, with particular emphasis on road-adjacent spaces such as bike lanes, shoulders and curbsides — areas Also describes as the most challenging segment of the last-mile delivery network.
