Allego and Uber are offering Uber drivers up to 50% off charging rates across Allego’s European fast and ultrafast charging network
EV charging provider Allego and Uber have announced a partnership offering Uber drivers discounted charging rates across Allego’s fast and ultrafast charging network in Europe. Launched initially in the Netherlands and France, with Belgium scheduled for mid-2026, the agreement gives drivers access to reductions of up to 50% on standard Allego network prices.
The partnership targets charging costs as a primary barrier to electric vehicle adoption among professional drivers, who are among the most intensive users of public charging infrastructure. Incentives are structured to encourage off-peak charging, supporting both driver affordability and grid efficiency. Uber drivers access the discounted rates through a dedicated single sign-on login within the Allego app.

Allego operates more than 1,000 high-power DC charging locations across Europe, positioned along major roads, retail destinations and mobility hubs. The company says the Uber agreement is part of a broader strategy to support high-mileage professional drivers, including taxi operators, last-mile logistics providers and small business fleets.
In a statement, Jean Gadrat, Chief Marketing Officer at Allego, said: “Professional drivers are among the most intensive users of public charging infrastructure. Smart incentives, combined with fast charging, help drivers reduce costs while supporting energy-grid efficiency.”
Brennon Chen, Head of Vehicles and Fleets EMEA at Uber, added: “Drivers consistently tell us that charging can be one of the biggest day-to-day pain points. By working with Allego we are improving access to reliable charging and lowering costs, making it easier and more affordable for drivers to get into EVs.”
