AB Dynamics has released a software module supporting more than 1,200 test scenarios required under Euro NCAP 2026 protocols
AB Dynamics has released a new software module designed to support the expanded testing requirements of Euro NCAP 2026 protocols, which increase the number of ADAS test scenarios to more than 1,200. The Special Groups module is available as an optional addition to the UK-based supplier’s Track Applications Suite and includes all standard and extended range tests ready to use without additional development.

The module supports new head-on collision scenarios with closing speeds of up to 200km/h, as well as multi-object tests and start-from-stop scenarios. AB Dynamics said the software is optimised for limited track space and includes integrated post-processing and an automatic positioning utility for vehicles and targets.
The latest Track Applications Suite release also includes updates to the company’s Ground Traffic Control system aimed at reducing operator workload. New features include remote driverless vehicle reset, integrated CAN channels, and expanded customisation and diagnostics options.
AB Dynamics is also launching an optional Fleet Management module for customers operating large testing fleets, providing advanced scenario deployment and detailed event history tracking. The company said its integrated environment enables coordinated control of all objects, simplifying the management of complex interactions and triggers required under the new Euro NCAP protocols. Euro NCAP 2026 raises the bar for ADAS assessment, requiring automakers to demonstrate performance across a significantly expanded range of safety scenarios.
