14 brands are arguably too many for any vehicle company to manage, so Stellantis has announced it will focus on four core brands. By Ian Henry
With production of more than 5.5 million cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs), economies of scale should not be a problem for Stellantis, but they are. More than 92% of 2025 production was accounted for by six brands, four of which involve a great deal of rebadging, plus platform and factory sharing.
