LG Electronics will unveil a combined TCU and antenna telematics module at MWC Barcelona 2026, running from 2 to 5 March.
LG Electronics will debut a next-generation telematics solution at MWC Barcelona 2026, combining a telematics control unit and an antenna capable of receiving 5G, GPS, V2X, and satellite signals into a single module. The company claims a 23% share of the global telematics market in 2025, citing data from TechInsights.
Consolidating previously separate components reduces signal loss at connection points and simplifies wiring. The integrated design also enables removal of the external shark fin antenna, allowing for cleaner vehicle rooflines.
LG will host a private exhibition at MWC for automotive and B2B customers. The company is making its first appearance at the event through its Vehicle Solution Company division.
“In-vehicle connectivity has become a core pillar of mobility competitiveness,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “LG will continue to deliver innovative solutions that go beyond the SDV paradigm and lead the industry into the AIDV era.”
