3SS and Škoda partner to expand in-car entertainment offer

Software firm 3SS has announced a partnership with Škoda Auto to deliver an in-car entertainment platform through the automaker’s Škoda Play service, powered by 3SS’s 3Ready Automotive solution. The platform aggregates video content from multiple sources, including news, educational material and branded content from Škoda, and tailors it to individual users and vehicle types.

Škoda Play supports both livestream and on-demand formats and enables Škoda to distribute branded content directly to vehicle users, covering service guides, product information and marketing material. The system also provides content management and analytics capabilities. Built on Linux Automotive OS, the solution is compatible with Linux, AOSP and Android Automotive operating systems.
