VinFast adds seven-seat VF MPV 7 to India EV lineup

VinFast has opened bookings for the VF MPV 7 in India, a seven-seat electric multipurpose vehicle (MPV) priced with a booking fee of INR 21,000 [US$X]. The Vietnamese automaker’s third model in the Indian market is available to book through its website and 50 authorised dealerships nationwide from 2 April, with an official launch and pricing announcement scheduled for 15 April 2026.

The VF MPV 7 measures 4,740mm long, 1,872mm wide and 1,734mm tall, with a 2,840mm wheelbase. A 60.13 kW/h battery provides a claimed range of more than 500km on a full charge, with fast charging capability taking the battery from 10% to 70% in approximately 30 minutes.

VinFast launched the VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs in India in September 2025. Alongside the VF MPV 7, the company is expanding its showroom and after-sales network and has partnerships with local financial institutions to support vehicle financing. Customers are offered free charging through the V-Green network until 31 March 2029.
