Valeo will present in-cabin and lighting technologies at SXSW 2026, including its Racer gaming system now in the Renault Filante
Valeo will present a range of in-cabin and lighting technologies at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2026 in Austin, Texas, from 12-14 March, including the production version of its Racer in-vehicle gaming system now available in the Renault Filante. The system uses the vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) sensors to incorporate live road environments into mobile gameplay.
Developed with partner holoride, the Racer system synchronises in-game visuals with the car’s real-time physical movement to address motion sickness. Valeo will also demonstrate Panovision, a pillar-to-pillar head-up display that projects driving data and safety alerts across the windshield, and e-Chromic Glasses, which use the vehicle’s rain and ambient light sensors combined with GPS data to anticipate lighting changes and adjust tint via Bluetooth.

In a statement, Jeffrey Shay, National President of Valeo North America, said: “Valeo transforms visionary concepts into market-ready realities, and SxSW is an amazing opportunity to connect with current and new partners and to demonstrate our pivotal role in connecting the automotive industry with the wider tech ecosystem.”
The supplier will also showcase lighting technology featured on the Zeekr 7X, which includes more than 1,700 customisable front-end LEDs and adaptive driving beam headlamps measuring 15mm by 200mm. Additionally, Valeo will present a passive, pump-free cooling system for data centres that it said is also suited to cooling central computers in autonomous vehicles.
