Toyota’s C-HR BEV joins the bZ and bZ Woodland on the e-TNGA platform, priced from US$37,000 with US deliveries starting in March

Toyota is adding the all-new C-HR battery-electric vehicle (BEV) to its US lineup, priced from US$37,000, with deliveries expected to begin in March 2026. The model joins the revised bZ and the bZ Woodland on Toyota’s BEV-dedicated e-TNGA platform and is the third BEV available in the US Toyota range.

The C-HR is powered by dual electric motors delivering 338 combined horsepower, with Toyota estimating a 0–60mph time of 4.9 seconds. A 74.7kWh lithium-ion battery provides an EPA-estimated range of 287 miles on the SE grade with 18-inch wheels, or 273 miles on the XSE with 20-inch wheels. A North American Charging System (NACS) port supports level 3 DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions, with an 11kW on-board charger handling level 1 and level 2 AC sources. Battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge capability are standard.

Cargo capacity stands at 25.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats, expanding to 59.5 cubic feet with the 60/40 split-folding rear seatbacks folded flat.

The C-HR is available in SE and XSE grades. Both include a 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, dual wireless Qi chargers, and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 as standard. The XSE adds a panoramic view monitor, lane change assist, traffic jam assist, and a nine-speaker JBL audio system.

Toyota’s traction battery is covered for eight years or 100,000 miles under the standard warranty.
